Dance is not only an art form; it is an athletic pursuit that requires strength, endurance, and resilience. Strength and conditioning supports dancers by developing bone health, reducing injury risk, and creating the power needed for leaps, turns, and sustained performance.

Too often, dancers believe “I’m just not flexible” or “I’m not a jumper.” But these are not fixed traits; they are physical capacities that can be improved through proper conditioning. Contrary to popular belief, most dancers are not simply born with perfect flexibility or effortless power. Even professionals dedicate years to building their strength, endurance, and mobility through structured strength and conditioning programs.

By incorporating strength and conditioning into their studio training, dancers develop the power, confidence, and control to reach their full potential.

Aligned with Jenna provides dancer-specific strength and conditioning designed to:

  • Prevent injuries and overuse strain

My role is to complement a dancer’s existing studio education by providing conditioning programs that target the physical demands of dance. I do not provide choreography or technique instruction; instead, I focus exclusively on strength, mobility, and performance readiness, helping dancers build the athletic foundation to thrive in their artistic training.

Aligned with Jenna’s youth programs are focused solely on performance, strength, coordination, and confidence. There is absolutely no emphasis on weight loss, calorie tracking, or physical appearance. All sessions are age-appropriate and designed to foster healthy relationships with exercise and body awareness.
